Bikely.com lets cyclists share favorite routes

Social-networking services that allow people to share photos and videos have become all the rage over the past year. So it should come as no surprise that the whole social-networking concept is coming to cycling. Using bikley.com, riders can plot out their favorite routes using Google Maps and store them on the site's servers for other cyclist to discover. Riders just looking for a route can search the bikley.com database without registering. Posting however will require a short registration process where users setup a user-name and password. Right now the service is pretty new, and there are only a handful of routes available - primarily in Australia, the United States, UK, and New Zealand. But its been designed to grow, and offers cyclists the ability to plot rides in nearly any country or local.
