Power Tap, now available on American Classic Wheels
American Classic – a custom wheel manufacturer based in Tampa, FL – is now offering CycleOps PowerTap SL hubs as an option on their 24 and 32 spoke wheels. The company also says they will offer buyers a matching front wheel option. A set of Sprint 350 road wheels built with the PowerTap SL will weigh in at about 1,490 grams. No details on what a set is going to run, but American Classic’s price sheet shows a set of 350’s going for $699.95. Add the cost of PowerTap – figure around $1,200 – and buyers could be looking at almost $2,000 for the setup.
