Chris King, an Oregon based manufacturer of bicycle components, and supplier to Team Discovery, has announced that its Pretty & Strong program will be expanded to a special edition series that will be available year round. Sales from the line of pink colored components will be used to raise awareness of breast cancer, and provide funding to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The program, which is in its third year, includes pink anodized headsets, hubs, spacers, stem caps, and t-shirts. Response to the 2005 program resulted in a donation of over $10,000 to the Oregon and Southwest Washington Affiliate of the Komen Foundation.
