Two New Hutchinson Tubeless Road Tires for 2007

Hutchinson will be launching two new tubeless road tires for the 2007 season – the Atom, with a single-density 23mm tread (250g), and the Fusion 2, with a multi-density 25mm tread (295g). Both are expected to retail for around $55 USD. Hutchinson spent five years developing these new tires, which integrate carbon-fiber into the beading to reduce stretch, as well as Hutchinson’s Air Light casing technology that trims weight while improving ride. Feedback from pro-teams like Agritubel, Saeco, as well the U.S. development team TIAA-CREF was also used in their development. As of this time, Dura Ace is the only wheel-set approved by Hutchinson for use with the Atom / Fusion 2.
