CSC Responds to Tour de France Route

While CSC seems happy with the overall TdF route, they have expressed some disappointment about the absence of a team time trial for the second year in a row. This however should come as no surprise given CSC’s success in team events over the last year. While its way too early to start making predictions about individual riders just yet, CSC says that Swiss rider Fabian Cancellara, who won the Paris-Roubaix in 2006, should do well on the roads in and around Belgium; while the flatter terrain near Marseille may serve riders like Jens Voigt and Kurt-Asle Arvesen very well.
