Van Dessel hit the Interbike show floor running with three new road bikes for 2007 – the Rivet, Hellafaster, and All Systems Go. The Rivet will serve as the company’s top-line road bike, the Hellafaster will act as Van Dessel’s value offering, and the All Systems Go will appeal to the time trial / triathlon market. Click on the link below for more pictures and details on Van Dessel’s 2007 lineup…

Rivet: The 2007 Rivet will feature a semi-sloping carbon frame with oversized tubes joined using a tube-to-tube wrapping process that will have the frame weighing in at about 900g for a 47.5 cm model. The bike will start at $about 1,700 for a frame, fork, and headset, but for top line components the bike will run $4,700, $4,900 and $6,200 for Force, Dura Ace and Record respectively.

Hellafaster: The 2007 Hellafaster represents a lower priced road offering from Van Dessel. The bike features a 7005 aluminum aero frame, integrated multi-position carbon seat post, and a Van Dessel carbon fork. A frame alone will run about $800 while a top-end Force, Dura Ace or Record build will cost between $3,600 and $4,200.

All Systems Go: The All Systems Go (ASG) is designed for time trial (TT) / triathlon markets and will replaced the company’s 2006 TT models – the Project WR and Project PR. The ASG will feature triple butted aluminum aero tubing, internal cabling, a deep wheel cutout, a multi position integrated aero seat-post from Aerus, and a monocoque front fork. The ASG also has a repositioned rear brake that lies between the rear seat-stays and the seat-tube. A rep explained that it both shortened the wiring and improved the angle at which it attached. Prices for the All Systems Go will range from about $1,300 for the frame to $3,700 for a DuraAce model. Van Dessel is also offering an “Ultimate Pro Build” which features Zipp wheels, and Vision Tech Carbon Pro aero-bars for about $6,000
