Cycling Plus is out with a very positive review of the new all carbon Stealth time trial bars from Planet X which were jointly developed with Sports Pulse, Sheffield University’s Sports Engineering Research Department. In the review, Cycling Plus said that the bars had a high quality feel, with little to no flex. The reviewer also points out that with numerous adjustment points, the bars can be customized to the posture, body-shape, and riding styles of just about any rider. Adjustments include arm angle, extension length, arm-rest location, and arm-rest height. The width of the bar-extensions, which can be custom sized, are also adjustable to accommodate different shoulder widths. As would be expected, the bars allow for internal cabling and aero style levers. Total weight for the 400mm wide bars is about 780g. Buyers can expect to pay around £235 in Europe, or $449 in the US.
