WADA Publishes 2007 Prohibited List

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has published their 2007 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods, which specifies only minimal changes be made to the 2006 guidelines. Changes for 2007 include, clarification that all stimulants are prohibited (including both their (D- & L-) isomers where relevant) except imidazole derivatives for topical use and stimulants on the 2007 Monitoring Program. The guidelines also specify that benzylpiperazine be added to the list of stimulant examples. Changes are set to go into effect on January 1, 2007.
