Zipp, best known for their wheels, is broadening its offerings with a line of clothing, including jerseys, socks, shirts and shorts. Shorts will feature a top-tier saddle pad that uses two types of density foam, and two types of elastic padding.
Giro is well known in cycling circles for helmets, but in the next couple of months the company is planning on branching out with a line shoes. The company, which launched its footwear brand at the WSA in Vegas, will give Canadians a first peak at the product line during the upcoming ExpoCycle this September. The company says they are planning on 15 different models aimed at both men and women. The line will be deigned and developed by St Louis based TRG Group which will also handle production and global distribution.
